Category: Search The team were called to assist in the search for a 17-year-old youth. He had last been seen at around midnight, the worse for drink. He called his parents in the early hours. This call caused concern for his safety. Police required the team to search the common areas and steep valleys around Torrington. The youth was found by a Police car at 07.00hrs. |

Category: Search A search involving Police, RAF and Exmoor Search and rescue team, was instigated after a member of the public thought they saw a micro light aircraft in trouble and on fire. The team searched until 22.00hrs. No evidence was found and ultimately no persons were reported missing. |

Category: Search Police had received by mobile telephone a call from a 72 year old man. He and his disabled daughter were lost in the fog on Cothelstone Hill. Darkness had fallen and the weather was very cold. The team were immediately called to assist. The lost persons located a Police car being used for containment. |

Category: Search A 25-year-old female was reported to be missing. A history of overdoses both personally and in the family lead Police to be concerned for her safety. Information lead Police to find the lady before the Team arrived at the scene. |

Category: Search The team were called to assist Police in the search for a 21-year-old female despondent who was missing from home. The team searched farmland, woodland and parkland until 06.00hrs. The teams’ involvement in the search was suspended pending further information. The missing lady returned home on the Tuesday evening. |
