Local Rescue Team takes home Carnival Proceeds

The South Molton Lions Club presents the Team with a cheque for the grand sum of £1,000.

At a recent South Molton Lions Club event, Lions Club President Mary Aslan was pleased to present Bill Allen of Exmoor Search and Rescue Team with a cheque for £1,000. The money was donated to the Team from the proceeds of the South Molton Carnival back in September.

The Team are incredibly grateful for the money raised from the carnival and specifically wish to thank both South Molton Lions Club and the people of South Molton for their kind generosity. The money will be put into the new ambulance fund, to equip the South Molton Rescue Centre with a state-of-the-art, fully equiped rescue ambulance.
