The Team were tasked by South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust with the treatment and evacuation of an injured walker in the vicinity of Dunster, Somerset, on the edge of Exmoor National Park.
The injured walker was assessed and managed by a Mountain Rescue England and Wales Casualty Carer and Team Paramedic before being stretchered to Ex.92 for evacuation. To expedite definitive care, the injured walker was conveyed directly to hospital for further assessment and treatment. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery!
