Exmoor Search & Rescue Team were tasked by Devon & Cornwall Police to assist North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team with an ongoing high-risk missing person search near our shared border, to the far West of our operational area. Five two-legged Team Members including Search Dog Handler Nick, and one four-legged Team Member, Lottie, deployed to provide mutual aid.
Team Members from both Teams searched extensively , but were stood down pending further Police investigations. We’ve since heard the missing person was located safe and well by the Police.
