Exmoor Search & Rescue Team were tasked by Avon and Somerset Police to assist with the rescue of a walker who had become misplaced from a footpath and fallen on steep ground in the vicinity of Dunster, Somerset.
13 Team Members and 3 Team Vehicles were dispatched, arriving at the RV shortly after deployment. Two Team Members were first on scene and quickly located the misplaced walker; between them, they were able to assist the walker back to the path and to the comfort of Ex.92 for an expedited return to the RV for a quick once over by a Team Paramedic before returning home with family.
