It’s been a busy festive period for the Team with a small flurry of deployments before and after Christmas.

The Team was tasked by Devon & Cornwall Police to assist with an ongoing search for a high-risk missing person in North Devon. 5 Team Members deployed alongside 7 colleagues from North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team, who provided mutual aid, and Search Dog Angus and Handler Jenny from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England.
Despite the efforts of the Teams, the search was inconclusive and Team Members were stood down whilst Police investigations were ongoing.

Following Police investigations, the Team was retasked to North Devon to assist the Police with the ongoing search for a high-risk missing person. 10 Team Members deployed alongside Search Dog Jack and Handler Goo from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England, and their navigator Dave from North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team.
Sadly, despite extensive efforts from all Team Members on scene, the search was inconclusive and the Teams were stood down whilst Police investigations continued.
