Last night Exmoor Search & Rescue Team was placed on standby by Devon & Cornwall Police as part of a regional response to anticipated snowfall and freezing conditions. Alongside colleagues from Devon & Cornwall 4×4 Response, the Team committed our three 4WD vehicles and nine Team Members to the multi-agency deployment.
Thankfully, traffic along the North Devon link road was light and free of major incidents for most of the night, and our Team Members were able to stand down at 05:00hrs.
