Exmoor Search & Rescue Team were tasked by Avon and Somerset Police to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance with an injured motorbike rider on Exmoor National Park.
The Team deployed 10 Team Members and 4 Vehicles from both South Molton and Taunton. Team Members in the area were on-scene within 5 minutes and the Team’s Casualty Carers who were training at the Rescue Centre, and available for immediate deployment, arrived on scene within 30 minutes.
As Team Members arrived on scene, it was confirmed that #HeliMed10 was able to access the casualty and was lifting to hospital. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
