Exmoor Search & Rescue Team were tasked by Devon & Cornwall Police to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service with an injured walker in challenging terrain near #Barnstaple, North Devon.
The Team deployed 11 Team Members and 4 Vehicles from both South Molton and Taunton. As Team Members were on route, it was confirmed that Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were able to access the casualty and evacuate the casualty without further assistance. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
