Exmoor Search & Rescue Team were tasked to the edge of the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near Cullompton to assist Devon & Cornwall Police and the National Police Air Service HQ with an ongoing search for a high-risk missing person.
The Team were kindly supported by colleagues from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England. In addition to Search Dog Lottie, the search efforts were supported by Search Dog Jack from North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team and Search Dog Pip form Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Tavistock.
14 Team Members and 3 Dog Teams searched into the night until 22:00hrs when the Teams were stood down and Police investigations continue.
