Call Out [36]: Exmoor Search & Rescue Team was tasked by Devon & Cornwall Police to assist with an ongoing multi-agency search for a high-risk missing person in North Devon on the edge of Exmoor National Park.
Nine Team Members deployed alongside colleagues from Ilfracombe Coastguard Search and Rescue, Lynmouth Coastguard Search and Rescue, RNLI Ilfracombe, the National Police Air Service HQ and Search Dog Jack from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England. Despite extensive search efforts until dark, the search remained unsuccessful and Police investigations were ongoing.
Call Out [37]: Following overnight Police investigations, Exmoor Search & Rescue Team was redeployed by Devon & Cornwall Police to continue with the ongoing multi-agency search in North Devon. Six Team Members were supported by colleagues from North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team and Devon Cave Rescue Organisation, as well as Search Dog Jack and Handler Goo from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England. The search efforts were again suspended at dark whilst Police investigations continued.
Call Out [38]: On Monday, Exmoor Search & Rescue Team Search Dog, Lottie, her Handler Nick and Team Member Phil returned to North Devon to assist Devon & Cornwall Police and local HM Coastguard Teams with the continuing search. Unfortunately, the search remains inconclusive and ongoing investigations remain with the Police.
